Hi, I’m Millie – a dedicated pet sitter and dog walker based in Bookham.

My journey into pet care began in 2020 with one very special dog: Ray, a rescue Husky-Malamute with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I started walking him for a friend, just helping out at first—but I had no idea how much that would change my life.

Ray had come from a tough start, but he was full of character, strength, and soul. Spending time with him quickly became the highlight of my day. His gentle nature, his goofy quirks, and the bond we built completely stole my heart. He taught me so much—about trust, patience, and the deep connection we can have with animals. Looking after Ray wasn’t just a favour—it sparked something in me. It made me realise that this is what I was meant to do.

I’ve always had a genuine love for animals. Since I was little, I’ve felt a strong connection to them—always the one to stop and say hello to every dog I passed, or offer to help with neighbours’ pets. I’ve also grown up with animals of my own, including a much-loved dog, rabbits, and hamsters, each of them teaching me something special about care, companionship, and responsibility.

To build on my passion and turn it into a professional path, I went on to study Animal Management at college, where I deepened my understanding of animal behaviour, health, and welfare. This knowledge helps me provide a high standard of care, grounded in both experience and education.

Today, I offer both short- and long-term pet sitting, as well as reliable dog walking services in Bookham. I tailor every walk and visit—whether it’s a solo stroll or a group adventure—to suit your pet’s unique needs, energy levels, and personality.

One of my biggest goals is to make every walk as enriching and enjoyable as possible. I truly understand that each dog is different—some love to run, some prefer a slow sniff, and others just need time and patience. For many dogs, their daily walk is the highlight of their day—and honestly, it’s mine too. I treat every outing as a chance to give your dog not just exercise, but mental stimulation, joy, and connection.
